PANASONIC VIERA Z1
The Panasonic Z1 is considered the flagship model of a new TV generation. With excellent quality and exclusive style it combines in an unprecedented way an innovative 600 Hz-technology with a tremendously slim design and high class materials. This is why our film is focused on design and definition. The viewer is supposed to get to know form and materials in a spectacular perspective and, at the same time, observe in a fascinating visual way the functioning of the 600 Hz moving picture resolution.Aside from our leading character, we can achieve these two goals with only one element – with light! Therefore, the main element are stripes of lights which come out of no-where, strive tension-filled for an unknown source and finally nestle up to and illuminate several design details of the film’s hero standing stylishly in a dark room.
We at Liga saw this interesting project through from finding a concept, through cutting and animatics, up to the final compositing. The challenge was to produce a 30-second long, fully computer generated film in full-HD in only 4 weeks production time. At the moment the result can be seen on all channels in prime time and we are of the opinion that every night shift was worth it.
